Summer Running

Following a hard year in the UK, I decided to head home to Sydney and Auckland to see the family and friends for Christmas and of course, get some much needed sun. I stepped off the plane at 8am sydney time and I was on the Bondi to Bronte trail by 9:30am. Man have I missed that run. Apart from the scenery, the sun beating down and heating up my cold bones did wonders for my head. I immediately felt refreshed. My thoughts then turned to the Sahara and task ahead. Would I feel so refreshed by the sun in the middle of the desert?

Here are a few pics for you so you can see why I love the run so much. Great hills for sprint work too.
